Lucas Hewlett, Lawyer & Director
After 20 years of experience in several of Queensland’s leading commercial law firms, Lucas created his own premier boutique firm in Brisbane.
Known for his technical knowledge, clear advice and relaxed demeanour, Lucas is a go-to lawyer for business owners, managers and individuals for many reasons. The first and foremost being to tap into his vast understanding of commercial and property law.

Nicole Campbell, Lawyer & Director
Nicole is a Property & Commercial lawyer with 20 years of diverse experience, mainly in commercial property and business law. She brings a passion and skill for untangling technical details and is a fantastic resource for the Hewlett Legal team and our clients.
Whether it’s advising on property and leasing transactions, sales or acquisitions, due diligence, leasing or titling reviews, audits or assessments, business sales and purchases or commercial agreements, Nicole has the expertise, insight and technical smarts to get people where they want to go.
She’s worked on a wide range of legal projects, including for Westfield, QIC, Cadbury Schweppes, Coles, Cairns Airport, the Queensland Government, Telstra, Lend Lease and Metro Petroleum. Clients love the care and attention she brings to every project, as well as her extensive knowledge. Through her previous experience as a litigator, she's developed great skills as a Property Lawyer, focusing on mitigating and reducing risk and making sure clients get the "why" as well as the "what”.
Outside the legal world, Nicole and her family of four are avid soccer fans and diehard Liverpool supporters. She's excited to join the Hewlett Legal team - and ready to share her explanation of the offside rule (spoiler: it involves a handbag).

Leisa Lake, Property Paralegal
Leisa has over 25 years of legal experience in residential conveyancing and executive-level operational support.

Vicky Geng, Lawyer
Vicky Geng is a talented Property and Commercial Lawyer with a diverse background.
Before joining Hewlett Legal, Vicky spent several years acting on various property transactions in both New South Wales and South Australia. Vicky’s property experience includes residential and commercial property conveyancing, off-the-plan contracts, development projects and retail and commercial leasing.
Vicky also has experience in working on various commercial transactions including mergers and acquisition deals, finance advice and arrangements and bespoke commercial agreements.
